I got a watch for Christmas. Can I get the rubber wrist band replaced with something metal?

Question pretty much sums it up, I got a very nice watch for Christmas, and I truly love it, but I don’t particularly care for rubber wristbands. Is there a way that I can have the rubber wrist band replaced with something metal?

This is a vid about a complete restoration of an Omega 30T2 from 1944. Dial is complete refurbished. Hands, center wheel and crown are NOS. This project was a dream from 3 years ago and now this wonderfull 30T2 is part of my Omega wristwatch collection. Many thanks to my cousin for help and support.
